Went out yesterday to capture some shots for a friend of his kids playing their sport. His daughter plays soccer, and his boy plays golf. All in all it was a fun shoot that produced some cool images.

Heading off to California tomorrow to Photograph Jim and Ashleigh's wedding on Friday night. We will be doing Bride and Groom (and Dog…) photos on Thursday from 2pm on. We wanted the whole afternoon to take photos and not have to worry about that schedule of the actual wedding. Should be a good time! Creative photos abound and looking forward to seeing everyone!
See you all next week!
Went out yesterday with Pete Talke to BlackCanyon Dog Track. The Black Canyon Dog Track was opened in 1967 by the Funk family. With the newly built I-17, Phoenicians had easy access to the greyhound races in the nearby town of Black Canyon, located 40 miles north of present day Phoenix. Working with Western Racing Inc. from Delaware, the Funk family continued to run the track until it was closed in 1982. A few years later the track would play host to a variety of Swap Meet events, and eventually became abandoned in the late 1980s.
Pete and I were able to access the property with ease right before the sun rose snapping off bracketed shots for some grungy HDR work later in post.
